February 2022 - This form is revised and available as a
fillable PDF form on our
Dependent's Claim Forms page. The form was revised
to add a field to enter the part of the body that was
injured. Please note that the Commission does not accept
form filing via email/attachment or fax. Please begin
using the new form immediately. |

Notice: Pursuant to the requirements of the Open
Meetings Act, the Commission hereby gives notice that
the Commissioners will hold the Commissioners' meeting
scheduled for February 24, 2022 in the 3rd floor meeting
room at 10 E. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 21202,
starting at 9:30 am. If you would like to attend this
meeting, please send an email to Openmeeting@wcc.state.md.us no
later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2022,
to allow time for the Commission to plan for social
distancing for attendees of the meeting and to provide
notice of your planned attendance to the building
security. Thank you. |

On February 3, 2022, the Governor terminated and
rescinded the recent 30-day State of Emergency. With the
State’s COVID metrics continuing to decline, the
Governor announced he will be lifting the mask mandate
in State offices and buildings. Effective February 22,
2022, masks will no longer be mandated in Commission
offices and hearing sites if you are vaccinated.
Individuals entering buildings will be asked to
self-screen for COVID symptoms and are expected to
refrain from entering if symptoms are present. |

The Commission is saddened by the death of Commissioner
Stephen Rosenbaum on January 7, 2022. Commissioner
Rosenbaum was a longtime member of the Commission family
and workers' compensation community. Our
condolences to his wife, "Murf" and all his family and
friends. Commissioner Rosenbaum's obituary can be
found on the
