February 26 | All hearings cancelled due to inclement weather (such as the week of 02/18/03 - 02/21/03) are continued and resubmitted to the WCC Docketing System for rescheduling. These hearings do not receive expedited handling and rescheduling is dependent on current volumes and hearing site availability. Appropriate action dependent on claimant needs and Commission policy should be exhibited by all parties. |
Aberdeen dockets for March 2003 have been set in Baltimore City with the following exceptions: March 6th- Bel Air South Professional Center, 2012 Tollgate Road, Suite 206, Bel Air, MD, 21015 ; March 17th - Four Points Sheraton Aberdeen, 980 Hospitality Way, Aberdeen, MD, 21001 . |
February 17 | At the recommendation of the Medical Fee Guide Revision Committee (MFGRC), the Workers' Compensation Commission agreed to hire a consultant to assist the Committee in analyzing the data collected by the MFGRC. On 11/22/02 a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the project was released. On February 11, 2003 a contract was signed with Ingenix. The Commission has retained the services of Ingenix to assist the Committee with analyzing health care payment issues. A preliminary report from Ingenix is due within 45 days. The Committee will next meet upon receipt of the consultant's preliminary report. Please monitor the Committee page for further information and developments. |
Hearings are cancelled due to weather and conditions in multiple locations. Hearings scheduled in Baltimore City remain as scheduled unless the Governor announces State Offices are closed or if announced. |

The MD WCC Claim For Medical Services Form C-51 (Rev 1/2001) is now available as an Adobe Acrobat document for download. Form field programming will permit completion of the form with Acrobat Reader (NEW version 5.1 is recommended, as it permits saving a completed Acrobat form) in the near future. The form can be printed at this time. |
