January 15 Materials presented at this week's Medicare Set-Aside/Settlement Agreement training are available for download.  Format options are Adobe PDF (link) and MS PowerPoint (link) and additional questions contributed from attendees (Additional Questions PDF).
The Commission has a very limited number of LexisNexis, 2009 Edition, Workers' Compensation Law of Maryland Annotated books for purchase. The cost is $45 each, including shipping. This is a substantial discount on the retail price, so please get your orders in quickly; this is a one-time offer and at this price they won't last long!

January 13 All scheduled training sessions are at capacity.  All materials from the Medicare Set-Aside/Settlement Agreement training will be available on our website following the conclusion of Friday's session. Depending upon community interest, the Commission may offer additional training sessions.  If you have not attended and would like to, please email us with your request.
January 4 Our FISCAL YEAR 2009 ANNUAL REPORT is available for download on our Publications & Reports page.  The PDF file can be downloaded and printed via Adobe Reader or other software that supports PDF format.

EMERGENCY REGULATIONS ADOPTED are effective January 4, 2010 - Emergency Amendments  to COMAR 14.09.01: Regulations .01 and .19 concerning compliance with the guidelines issued by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services with regard to the settlement of future medical benefits. Go to Regulatory Changes for details.
