Note that when an objection to a subpoena for the release of medical records is filed by a claimant, the Duty Commissioner will issue an order requiring the production of the medical records, within a certain number of days, to said Duty Commissioner for an in-camera inspection and decision. After reviewing the produced records, the Commissioner will issue an Order as to whether or not the medicals are relevant and discoverable. |January 1||The WCC has updated the Medical Fee Guide: Regulations & Information web page, which provides the instructions for calculating the reimbursement amount/value for services provided to injured workers after 9/1/04 . This change has been made in order to conform with current regulations governing medical (fee guide) reimbursements.|
