The Online Services Advisory Council (OSAC) serves as a forum for two-way communication with the Commission concerning online experiences, suggestions and comments on how to make doing business with the Commission online even more accessible and easier to use. Members are asked to share their ideas and comments regarding current and future online services available our website. The Commission is committed to a high level of stakeholder communications and feedback. Members’ suggestions and criticisms help us to continue providing innovative online products and services to facilitate conducting business with the Commission.
The Workers Compensation Commission hosted the inaugural meeting of OSAC on Tuesday, October 24, 2006. The formation of OSAC was announced at the Maryland Workers' Compensation Educational Association (MWCEA) conference in September 2006. Initial membership invitations were issued as a result of direct inquiries following the MWCEA conference or from referrals by other community members. Membership consists of representatives from all areas of the workers compensation community.
The group expects to formally meet 2-4 times a year. Throughout the year, members may be contacted via email or telephone to provide subject matter expertise on proposals or offered the opportunity to participate in pre-release reviews of new online products and services of interest.
