The Commission is pleased to welcome its newest
Commissioner, Kathleen A. Evans - Commmissioner Evans
was appointed a member of the Maryland Workers'
Compensation Commission by Governor Lawrence J. Hogan,
Jr., in 2015. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the
University of Maryland in 1979 and earned her Juris
Doctorate from the University of Baltimore Law School in
1982. She comes to the Commission from the Office of the
State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County, Maryland where
she worked as a prosecutor from 2007 until 2015.
Commissioner Evans is a member of the Maryland State Bar
Association, the Maryland State's Attorneys'
Association, Women's Bar Association and the American
Bar Association, to name a few. She actively
participates in many business and civic organizations
and has been the recipient of numerous awards for her
work as a prosecutor. |
