The Workers' Compensation Commission is closed Monday, January 2, 2006 in observance of New Year's Day. 
No telephone or email/websupport is available.  We will open for business Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 8 a.m.

December 30The WCC has updated the Medical Fee Guide: Regulations & Information web page, which provides the instructions for calculating the reimbursement amount/value for services provided to injured workers after 9/1/04 . This change has been made in order to conform with current regulations governing medical (fee guide) reimbursements.
December 16The Commission will hold an open meeting on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in Hearing Room 447, 10 East Baltimore Street, Baltimore MD 21202 for consideration of the Medical Fee Guide Committee recommendations.
Workers' Compensation Appeals (link) is updated.
December 13Maryland Worker's Compensation Benefits Rates for Calendar Year 2006 are posted to the MD Compensation Rates page.
December 9The Commission's Employee Claim Form C-1 can now be accessed online.  The Claim Form C-1 and detailed instructions are located via the Public Online Services menu.  The form must be completed, printed, signed and mailed to the Commission as prescribed in the instructions.  This form cannot be printed as a blank form and typed/handwritten for submission.  Forms that are used as a blank form and completed outside the Formatta Filler process, are modified after completion, do not have the date/time stamp or claimant signature will not be processed.  Please read and follow the instructions carefully.  Claimant attorneys may still include their Request to Enter Appearance form with the Formatta WebForm mailed to the WCC.  CLICK HERE FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS.
The Commission's Fiscal Year 2005 Annual Report is posted to the PUBLICATIONS page (in the GENERAL INFORMATION menu).  The new report is formatted as an Adobe  Reader PDF, and is approximately 2MB to download.  A reader survey form is also located on the page to submit input on the report's contents and make suggestions on how this report can be improved to serve the many customers and partners of the MD WCC.  CLICK HERE FOR THE PUBLICATIONS PAGE.
